Who am I and what is Sub-Marine?
Hi, my name is Callum. I am the owner of Graphic Vibes and content provider for the Sub-Marine Newsletter. Sub-Marine (short for: Subject-Marine) is a newsletter created to keep you in the know about everything Marine. Whether that be the latest updates on Russian Yachts being seized as the conflict unfolds between them and Ukraine, how maritime designers and specifiers are changing the meaning of “Luxury Travel”, or how Industry professionals plan to tackle global warming and make cruises / yachting more eco-friendly. All you need to know in one place!
At Graphic Vibes we offer professional Photography, Videography, Drone Operations and more to the Marine Industry.
Our specialist background in Marine Interiors, along with our passion for Professional Media, is the root to the creation of Graphic Vibes. Having seen newbuild and refit projects through from the design and production of IMO Products, to marketing and selling them, we feel, who would be better fitted to come onboard and capture maritime businesses in action than us? Compared to your day to day media companies, we believe we have an enhanced vision on what you as a company, and your target audience want to see. I have also personally experienced the life as a deckhand onboard multiple SuperYachts around the Mediterranean, giving us that extra inside industry knowledge.
With state of the art equipment and a vast arsenal of experience we believe we can capture superlative content as a powerful marketing tool, specifically aimed at the Marine Industry.
Recent Projects & Lesson’s Learned:
Last week was slightly out of the norm. I was able to take the first half of the week out of work to visit Budapest. This isn’t a regular occurrence and was a great way to reflect on recent events within Graphic Vibes and take a river cruise down the Danube River. I can call that work, right?
In the last 7 days Graphic Vibes has transitioned from a Sole Trader organisation, having been operating for 6 months, to a Limited Company and VAT Registered. This feels like a great achievement and milestone in our journey as we see the physical growth of the business. Furthermore, we continued to take bookings for this week ahead meaning we are engulfed with projects to fulfil. We can’t thank our clients enough for the support and take pride as we have received project requests through referrals!
This week’s lesson: “Quality is pride of workmanship”
- The quote above speaks volumes to me as I believe you should treat every project like it is your own. If a client has trusted me to capture and boast their business, I will ensure i’m just as invested as them to deliver a quality product, that is long remembered.
